Heartland Marine was located at the junction of Highway 3 and County road V62 on the county line between Bremer and Fayette Counties. It is one mile north of Oran and nine miles south of Sumner. The business was owned and operated by Harry Arends and his wife Tricia. They opened the business in 1998 after acquiring the former site of Lorber Construction Company.
